Yea I wasn't gonna join due to time restrictions, but they extended the deadline. And when I was still not going to have time, dinner on Saturday night got rescheduled due to kitchen problems at the place. So lo behold, time to finish this hnnnnng. Must be a sign.     History:
    Born the first child into a typical Asian family, much expectations were placed on Eiriol's shoulders by parents overeager for their only child to excel in anything and everything. With Father being a structural engineer and Mother an account executive, it was only obvious that daughter would turn out into an overachiever as well, outshining all her peers not only in studies, but the barrage of extra-curricular activities she was enrolled in, inclusive but not limited to activities such as swimming, ballet, piano, tuition...

    However expectation did not turn into reality, and though the child proved to be a bright youngster, she remained a moderate achiever in everything she did. Though her parents continued encouraging their child on lovingly, the girl couldn't help but hear whispers from extended family and friends about her inability to match up to her parents' intellectual standing. Self-disappointment ultimately led to a loss in drive, and eventually the girl began withdrawing into herself from the stress. Sensing their 10-year-old daughter's distress, the parents eventually made the decision to take their child to a less stressful environment. A long talk ensued, where the child was assured she need not follow in her parents' footsteops, and she should forge her own path in life. After a job transfer arrangement, the family moved overseas.

    Though the initial culture shock was a huge blow, they finally settled into the routine of their new life. Free from the pressures and expectations of her birth country and relatives, Eiriol was allowed the freedom to choose her own activities. Her intelligence was enough to carry her to higher grades in her new school, with art and piano classes providing her a medium to extend her creative abilities. Computer and internet freedom that'd once been more restricted became more open, and the girl soon found enjoyment not only in casual gaming and surfing the internet, but also figuring out the codes and mechanisms that made the website designs themselves. It gave her respite from the awkwardness of face-to-face dealing with people. Thus through her newfound freedom, the girl slowly began unravelling once more.

    Finishing high school, Eiriol decided to undertake a conjoint degree in Performance Music and Multimedia Design at her local university, especially interested in delving into the animation and gaming side of the art industry. Hearing about Droid Co. through a class contact, she actually didn't intend to apply as Beta Tester or join the Wish Tournament; her entry was a practical joke done by her brother as he messed around on her computer one day and found the site bookmarked on her browser. However she decided to stick with it, seeing it as an interesting opportunity to delve more into the industry, and maybe even prove to herself that her competitive streak still exists and meet some new people. That money would come in handy for breaking into the industry too, and to prove to those pesky relatives that she doesn't need to be an intellectual ace to live up to her parents' expectations.

    A little awkward and reserved at first meeting, it takes a bit to get to know the girl beneath her protective exterior. However once you click with her, be prepared for a rather quirky character to come into your life. Once familiar, she talks a mile a minute about the randomest things, and is very expressive with her hand gestures when speaking. She even makes weird sounds from time to time, especially if she's exasperated or annoyed. Due to her upbringing, the girl is very ambitious and diligent, always striving to achieve as best she can. This also fuels her competitive drive, for she hates losing. Nevertheless, she tends to be quite neutral when it comes to a lot of things. Ask her opinion of something, and she'll most likely shrug and respond "whichever you prefer". Despite her feminine appearance, Eiriol isn't actually that girly, being a tomboy in her youth, she's just really good at making herself presentable. She can also be rather begrudging, and possesses the ability to grab even the tiniest threads of anger or resentment and hold on to it for quite a while, meaning she can hang on to grudges for a ridiculously long period of time. While she may say she forgives, she doesn't easily forget.
