Birthday gift for Happy birthday Draco man! Hope you like 8')
Good thing you reminded me early it's your birthday, so I managed the very rare feat of finishing this in time ohoho >D Since I've been doing a lot of colouring experimentations lately....Hope you don't mind your daughter became the subject to my test //sobs. You know how much I love her >v< Thanks for always being a great friend and listener, stay awesome always <3
Was gonna just submit this on tumblr, but well points for La'Hansi haha >D Also, is it sad that this is my first submit to everyday lofe folder //FAILTARD
I really like how solid yet soft the details are *u* I could see the direction of hair and its form but without it being too clumped up. I always loved that effect when hair gets highlighted around by light, such a lovely effect!
Thank you Sigh ;v; <33 Lol the hair shine was actually a bit of an accident. I have no idea what I was aiming to do before but it definitely was to stay away from too much shininess. Then that effect somehow came into play and I decided it needed to be there >D Funny thing how playing around with random stuff works huh 8V
Gorgeous, simple gorgeous! It really makes you pause for a moment to just admire it. So well done, and the attention to detail is amazing. It is the obvious thought and effort that went into the work that really brings it to the next level. The piece speaks for itself, with no explanation needed. It stirs the emotions. I wish I had just a portion of your talent It truly is a work of beauty.
Aaaah thank you so much for the comment, that was such a pleasure to read, I really appreciate it! <33
And lol you flatter me too much Q//v//Q It's more a lot of practice and experimentation than anything else really, since I'm honestly not really naturally talented in drawing haha. I checked out your gallery, your stuff's a little rough but not bad? You've got a really good sense of where light and shadow falls over the figure >v<
Yea fortunately DA is a treasure trove of handy tutorials, and yup, improvement is all about improvement ^^ What program do you use? You could always try looking on youtube for process recordings or tutorials too. I've found those super handy, since you actually get to watch the artist at work.
