Last week, we got news that a high school classmate to my employer's son had taken his own life, believing there was nothing left in this world left for him. Coincidentally, I went to the same HS as well, so the connection's made it hit home a little more than usual, and just got me thinking...
Most of us probably strive to be something bigger than what we currently are. We push ourselves to make a mark in the world, and believe that we did something worth mentioning in our lives. Few of us achieve the benchmark we set, but most of us get there without even knowing it. Because the truth is, we touch the lives of those we meet. This is our impact on the world, no matter how big or small it may be. Just one word, one hug, one conversation may be enough to change someone's life. From the biggest of personalities to the quietest of introverts, I believe that someone will always know we were here.
I honestly don't say this enough, but thank you to all the lovelies here who have blessed me with your company. I love the laughs, the conversations, and every story we've created. Thank you for leaving your footprints in my life <33
